Easter 2008

We started easter with some crazy egg dying at Uncle Greg and Aunt Bunny's house. Unfortunately the camera died while we were there. We had a great time and by the time we left, Jackson's hands were solid green. Hundreds of eggs were dyed for the annual egg hunt that followed on Saturday.

Jackson got to get his egg hunting feet wet on Friday at a local park. Betsy took him for the annual Easter egg hunt. He got to ride on a train and climb on a fire truck and see the Easter Bunny. All at one of his favorite place on Earth. The Park. What a day. It proved to be excellent practice for the big hunt on Saturday.

Aunt Bunny hosts one heck of an Easter egg hunt. Complete with Bunny costume. Jackson got right into it and had his basket full in no time. Even though he had to pause to eat the candy inside after just about every egg.

Here's the pics.

Here's a short video of the action.

Thanks for stopping by.

2nd Birthday Party!

That's right folks. Jackson is Two. It's hard to believe. We had a really great time at his birthday party. Thanks to everyone that came to celebrate with us and thanks to all for all the wonderful presents. Jackson is a lucky boy.

Here are some pics of the big day.

Jackson kicked off the birthday season with his party. I think it's got him a little confused. His party was nearly a week before his birthday. So, he had the party on Saturday, a little party at daycare on Thursday (they were closed on Friday), and then his actual birthday on Friday. He seemed to think that everyday was his birthday. The very next day (Saturday) was Betsy's Birthday. Jackson refused to say happy birthday to mommy. He would just say "my birthday too". Today is Uncle Lunchbox's (Jay's) birthday, mine is next Saturday, Aunt Jackie's is the 13th, Aunt Bunny's is the 15th, and Uncle Jeff and Lilly are both on the 19th. This poor kid will be in party withdrawal come May.
