The Return of the Blog (maybe)

So it's been six months since I've updated this puppy. What a lazy bum! Right? Cut me some slack. Our camera broke, I got a new computer, had to learn new camera software, we moved, etc. Okay. I know. Excuses, excuses.

So when we left off, Jackson was just starting to say some crazy stuff and I couldn't remember any of it. Now he says tons of crazy stuff and I can't remember any of it. Last week his teacher told me that Jackson said he needed ten bucks for beer. How's that? That's a good one.

In order to get back into the swing of things, I think I'll just dump a bunch of pictures on you faithful readers of the blog. Of course, I'll comment when needed. I'll also insert any random memories that pop into my had as I go along. Okay? Ready?

Here goes!

Jackson in a kitty litter bucket full of water. Good times.

Jackson painting and sporting his new "cheese" face. For some reason he started closing his eyes when his says cheese.

These are the first of many many fire fighter related images to come. This kid is obsessed with all things fire fighter. He can take roll call and then tell all about how a pumper truck works. Just the mere sight of a fire hydrant on the side of the road is enough to make his day.

Complete outfit with mask, boots, and jacket.

Let's see. What else? We went to the Zoo a couple of months ago with Jackson's buddy Hunter and his parents,(our buddies) Scott and Jenny.

We got a new kitty and we named her Macadangdang. Don't ask.

Jimbo was not impressed at first.

But they quickly became the best of friends.

Now for some random silliness.

There's plenty more silliness. In fact, let's see some more.

Crazy hats with Theresa. That's fun.

And how 'bout diaper head? Also fun.

Another thing that Jackson is totally into is tools. He loves to "fix" He's always saying: "Can I fix with you Dad?" whenever I'm working on something. Or he'll say: "You wanna fix with me?" Whenever he's playing with his tools. If Uncle Greg shows up at the house, Jackson immediately runs off to get his tools to show Greg. He knows if Greg's here, something's gettin' fixed.

Here he is with his tool belt and no pants.

We recently went on our first fishing trip. Scott, Jenny, and Hunter invited Jackson and I to join them at a little lake that is slap full of tiny Bream. Jackson was all about it until the fish was out of the water. Then he wanted no part of touching it. We had Jackson and Hunter both saying they wanted to catch a "monster". In this lake, a monster was a three inch fish instead of the usual two inch fish. We sure had fun though.

That's pretty much it. Well, except for the pictures from our cruise to the Bahamas. I'll save them for the next post. That way I'll be more likely to actually create a "next" post.

Thanks for reading. Thanks for waiting six months for an update. I'll leave you with some more random acts of silliness.

Bye Bye!
